glimpse into the spirit and artistry of a Romanian sculptor

Glimpse into this workshop studio and be inspired by the artistry of Dan Leş, a Romanian sculptor that has been kneading his native Carpathian clay for almost a half century.

Influenced by his culture and tradition, the figurative ceramic art and vessels he creates represent his childhood that was filled with endless parables he still ponders to this day along with  representations of characters from his village life that he holds close to his heart.

Watch as he tells his fascinating story about working with clay and his outlook on the simplicity of life.
